The Instacart Experience: Video Takes You Inside Instacart Delivery

Written by Field Agent | Mar 14, 2018

Last month, Sam’s Club made headlines by joining a long and growing list of retailers partnering with Instacart to offer customers same-day grocery delivery. Other illustrious names on that list include Kroger, Costco, Safeway/Albertsons, Publix, Meijer, H-E-B, and Whole Foods Market.

But for many of us, Instacart remains a bit of a mystery.

How does the delivery service work?

What’s it look like?

What do customers think about it?

Field Agent Video: The Instacart Experience

In preparing for our special report, “The Digital Shopper: Insights into Today’s Most ‘Connected’ Customers,” Field Agent enlisted some 20 shoppers to try and rate the Kroger-Instacart experience—from shopping for Kroger groceries online to receiving the Instacart delivery at home.

All participants were required to purchase at least $35 of groceries, including at least one fresh item, from Kroger through the Instacart website.

While the results from this study are only available in The Digital Shopper report, below we offer a video glimpse into the Instacart experience—and what users of the service think about it.
